Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a PGS Transformation Summer Intern.
SUMMARY
The PGS Transformation Intern will support continuous improvement projects within the Power Generation Services (PGS) division. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally on initiatives that streamline operations, optimize cost models, and improve serialized part tracking. The intern will assist with data analysis, process mapping, documentation, and training development while gaining exposure to real-world engineering and business transformation projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the LTSA Cost Model Optimization project through user acceptance testing and data migration.

Assist with serialized parts optimization by manipulating data and developing process documentation.

Contribute to Project Delta initiatives by mapping processes, supporting root cause analysis, and improving tooling workflows.

Create technical documents and training materials to support project rollouts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong internal relationships.

Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Participate in team efforts and support overall business goals.

Adhere to safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION
Education and/or Experience:

Must be a current full-time student enrolled in a four-year accredited college or university program.
Required Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and business documentation.

Strong analytical thinking and mathematical reasoning skills.

Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively.
